Jelly Jam was inspired from my fascination of creatures that live under the water. Although jellyfish have been around for over 500 million years, they only live for about a month. Having encountered them in a variety of climates, I just though it would be fun to crowd them all into one place all tangled together, representing the feeling we all have when we are in a crowded subway, concert or airplane. Hand dyed mohair and wool, along with broken glass, other fibers and reflective materials enhance the life of the jellyfish.
