Something in a painting stops you before you understand why.
Linda Bergeron paints that moment. The tiger's gaze before it looks away. The hummingbird suspended at the feeder. The two pelicans, the afternoon light, the quiet of the lake.
Each painting is built in layers, sometimes eight, sometimes ten, until the canvas holds the feeling she was chasing. The texture catches the light differently depending on where you stand. Collectors have reached out to touch them.
