Jelly Jam

Jelly Jam was inspired by my fascination with creatures that live under the water. Jellyfish have been around for over 500 million years, yet they only live for about a month. Having encountered them in a variety of climates, I thought it would be fun to crowd them all into one place, all tangled together, representing the feeling we all have when packed into a crowded subway, concert, or airplane. I used hand-dyed mohair and wool, broken glass, fibers, and reflective materials to bring them to life.
